The Checklist

A short list of documents. That's it.

Most people picture a mountain of paperwork. It's not. Here's the whole stack.

  • Photo ID (driver's license or passport)
  • Last 30 days of pay stubs
  • Last 2 months of bank statements
  • Last 2 years of W-2s (or tax returns if self-employed)
  • Self-employed: most recent business bank statements
  • VA buyers: Certificate of Eligibility (we can pull it for you)
  • Refinancing: your current mortgage statement

Pro tip: Don't gather it before our first call. Some loan types need different documents. We'll send the exact checklist for your loan once we know what we're shopping.
